Star Wars: The TV Show: Episode II.

No new info has really poured forth about the upcoming Star Wars TV Shows.

I don't really feel like speculating today, so I'll just throw a question into the field.

If the show turns out poorly (maybe not Star Wars Holiday Special badly, but fairly bad ) would you still watch it because it's... Star Wars?

Personally, I'll give it way more slack than other shows because of the Star Wars title and background (in terms of how bad it'd have to be for me to not watch, I'll still complain about Clone Troopers having the wrong coloring for the job they're doing or something else no one in their right mind should care about lol). I'm assuming at least one of the characters will be a Jedi on the run from the empire (I said I wasn't going to speculate... Sorry), which is good. If that Jedi turns out to be BinBin Jinks, Jedi Gungan (or something equally outlandish: Jawas, I'm looking at you), I might be leaving the TV off though

Yes, thats the thing w/ star wars, the WORST star wars whatever (tv, movie, toy, video game) is better then most other things. I found someone on ebay who was selling that old ewok and driod cartoon on DVD, not the one lucas release, but all the episodes someone taped w/ a vcr 15 years ago. And i watched them and some were really good, some were okay, and some were bad. On the bad ones i would find myself turning them off, flipping through the channels and then turning them back on. star wars is great, everything about it is great, thats y we are all here talking on these blogs, so even some stuff that isn't great as far as SW goes, is still pretty damn good.

date Posted: Sep 19, 2005 8:14 AM Maybe. If turns out bad, I'd probably subject myself just to remind myself how a great saga was ruined. Self-torture is the best. If it falls in the same time slot as another favorite show, like 24 or Prisonbreak or CSI, then possibly not.....unless it's better than those 3 combined.
