Ni Draar Udes Meh Ni Lise Miit'gaanar!
I fully apologize to all Mando'a experts out there... But hopefully there's only one at this point so there will be no open ridicule of my grammar. :D

That was supposed to read (In Earthikin Basic :) )
"I never rest if I can write!"
and then the lower line in almost entirely archaic Mando'a
"We warriors shall bear our...Um.... Stuff"

Well with the posting of the Hyperspace Mando'a language guide posted I figured I'd take the honor of the first blog written entirely in Mando'a!

......What? We're not ready for that? Bah, you're no fun.

Ok so I suppose I better put a thought here so I'm not hypocritical about short blogs... :D

First up, thanks to Karen Traviss for putting the whole thing together, 24 pages was much more than I was expecting for this early version. My only real complaint thus far is that the words for "Why?" and "When?" don't seem to be included and they're quite essential :)

Secondly... Mando'a should be on the TV series! Ok... Maybe we shouldn't be going completely into Mando culture during the TV Series (Unless it does indeed turn out to revolve largely around Boba Fett), but there's going to be Stormtroopers around surely and most of them would still be clones unless they place the TV series in extreme closeness to Episode IV in time period.

These guys would be chattering to each other in Mando still, wouldn't they? Perhaps even to other citizens...

Bear with me if you haven't seen it, but I have to mention.

Firefly. :p

The short-lived Sci-Fi series involved a solar system under the control of a corrupt government... Half of which was Chinese.

So everyone in the show could speak Chinese, bartenders to royalty. The point being: if you have a Galactic police force chattering away in Mando'a, then wouldn't the average citizen pick up some to? At least the basics and... In the case of Firefly: The curses.

I wouldn't mind my rough and tough smuggler suddenly bursting out.... Haar'chak! if he got caught in an Imperial tractor beam :p

Taylir Cuyi!...Keep Flying!
