Chronicle 4
My mind seems to be a blank right now. The Yankees got SPANKED, the Spurs are up 3-0, and Robbie Gordon is whining about Danica Patrick. I'm watching Pirates of the Carribean and reading the graphic novel: SW Tales of the Jedi, The Fall of the SIth Empire. Things seem to be good and they are but (and you knew it was coming) I am rarely of moments like this of non-clarity or non-overwhelming thought. My mind is usually running a million miles (at hyperspace speed) a second and on a vast variety of topics. It is unusaul for me to have moments where it is actually blank for any extended period of time.

Many things go on in my process of thought the least of which is the effect of any action that is an afterthought that may be taken. I'll admit that I rarely think things through for the most part. I do what I do and accept the reponsibilities as they are. I rarely shy from a decision I make but it does annoy some that I seem to be so reckless with my thought. Don't geniuses find themselves in the general malaise that the insane lament and the sane find unfathomable?

I love to think about anything I can, it saves me the indignity of feeling lost. I get so immersed or overwhelmed at times that I just literally forget things. It's not done with malicous intent or warranted malice; it just happens. Those who care and love me most know that I am prone to overthinking or forgetting things but they are the most critical and intolerant of the way I think. They do so out of loving frustration but really how can you not recognize the base traits of the one you love?

Am I too immersed in thought? Do I overextended my thought process and mental machinations? Maybe but SW is one of the only things that give my thought process solice. I can lose myself in SW and not feel like I'm auditioning for the "Common Sense Olympics". One question however: If it REALLY is common sense; then why don't we all have it? Just something to think about the next time you hear someone or you yourself question someone's "common sense".

Random Factoid: The War of 1812 ended before the Battle of New Orleans however the commanders of the battle never got the message (as messages took at least a month to travel) so they did battle. The Americans won the battle against a vastly superior Britsh force and it was the catalyst for Andrew Jackson's later presidency (for those who don't know who he is, he's the guy on the front of your $20 bill).
