OK I knew it had been too easy these last 4 weeks. Today I deviated from my normal BK's and went to one close to home. They were rude and clueless. They would not sell me the toys without purchasing the kids meals. This to me tells me two things: 1) they are not collector friendly & 2) if they have been doing this the whole time, they probably are still carrying last weeks stuff and won't have this week's toys. I turned around without ordering anything and said a profanity under my breath.

So, I proceeded to drive to the next location near my home. I struck out again! This time they were nicer but had no idea that other BK's were selling them individually. I thanked them and did a 180. I jumped back into my car and went to another one.

At this point I was thinking man I shouldn't bother; I should just drive to the one close to my job, but man with the price of gas it was worth to see if this BK would budge. So I walk in, I give them my introductory line "do you sell the toys individually?" This place was a rip off, they were selling the figures for $1.50 instead of $1.09 and only had two of the figures released this week: Bail Organa and Yoda. I bought them and a Jr. Whopper meal. I thought man my food is going to get cold by the time I drive to the other place. However, at this point I was on a mission to complete my collection. I was also afraid that maybe they had deviated from the normal 4 released per week and what if I would have to go through this again next week. EEK!

So I drove 20 minutes out of my way. I walk in and I give them my line, the girl behind the cash register smiled and showed me all of four new figures for this week. I bought Jedi Luke and the Vulture Droid. I also felt guilty and bought a side salad. For some reason whenever I find the figures I want I feel compelled to order off the menu. I also saw they had all six watches. I almost bought them, but stopped myself instead.

So, this concludes this episode of BK Super-D collecting. I hope that this is it, but I get a feeling they may do this again. I'm glad I won't have to step foot into another BK as long as I live. Well, at least 'til they carry more Star Wars stuff again.
