February marks the end of my first year as a Hyperspace Member. I originally joined up so I could enjoy the benefits of Hyperspace membership at Celebration Europe and so I could read the webstrips, but over the past year I've also had the pleasure of doing the odd blog entry and getting exclusives at the online shop.

The year has shot by and my interest in Star Wars has grown - I've totally geeked out at meeting fellow fans and the people that helped make Star Wars what it is. I've read about the past (Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic), the present (Dark Times/Rebellion) and the future (Legacy Of The Force, Legacy), and I want to read more.

But when the Hyperspace renewal e-mail arrived in my inbox I had to think about renewing my membership. I blog for free on Myspace. I post more regularly on Darkhorse.com's Star Wars boards and I've read pretty much all the webstrips. Then I saw the Hyperspace Members Pack, and the amazing Star Wars comic thats in it. And I remembered the 10% discounts at the store. And the nice avatar I have when posting on the boards here.

Then the big stuff clicked - Clone Wars is about to hit. Force Unleashed is about to hit. Japan is about to have its first Celebration event. Do I want to hear about these things second hand? Do I want to miss out on exclusives?

So. to kind of conclude (before this blog entry loses it point completely) - February may mark the end of a year of Hyperspace for me, but it also marks the beginning of 2nd year of Hyperspace for me as well!
