Hey guys! Earlier last week I posted a blog about hoping to get BF
3 last Saturday, well I didn't get it Saturday, I got it yesterday, anyway, I didn't get Battlefront 3, I got a Battlefront 1.5, if not, a 2.5. This Battlefront was DEFINETLY not a 3.
Here's why...
Campaign: I'm REALLY dissapointed about Campaign in this game. They could have done MUCH better on the storyline. Right now, I'm telling the guys that don't have it, that the Storyline is this: After the Battle of Endor, the Jedi Temple had been re-built, and one of the Jedi currently in that Temple (An Archivist named Tionne) wanted to get some answers about this so-called "Renegade Squadron" created before the Battle of Yavin. Tionne contacts Col Serra, an old leader of Renegade Squadron and a Friend of Han Solo, and starts to ask him what kind of missions Renegade Squad took on. The rest of the story is you playing through the Original Trilogy as Col tells Tionne. It ends the way Episode 6 ends... Nothing special or revealing. But I must say, the missions you go through, maps, and gameplay is AMAZING in campaign...
Non-Campaign (Instant Action, Galactic Conquest, Online MP, etc.):
In the rest of the games playable types, it's just BF 2 with Heroes in Space, some other bits of extras in Space, no Class choice, and some other stuff. That's it...
Finally...
CUSTOMIZATION!: This is the thing that makes BF RS what it is. Customization. Now, yeah, there are only three body types and only 3 helmets for each body but the colors, weapons, and special things that you can equip on each character is just great. The only downside is, when equipping weapons and gear and nades and all that stuff, you have a max limit of 100 credits to use. That's the only downside. Other than that, it's practically perfect.
Well, that sums it up. That's the whole review for Battlefront Renegade Squadron or BF 3 or BF 1.5 or BF 2.5 or... Whatever you want to call it. Heck, you can even call it BF 4...
You decide!
PEACE!
