Well, I now believe in luck... My dad owns a Paintball park in Florida. Well... Summer, Heat, and Paintball don't mix unless you're dedicated to the sport. We have some people down here that are, and since we're the only park/place that carries paint in the area, we get a good amount of buisness. Yesterday we had an okay day. But then I got a dreaded sentence from my dad...

"You know... I'm sorry... But if we don't have a good day tomorrow... We can't go to weekends..."

I almost cried. We had a party of 20 people that were supposed to show up yesterday that had called me and told me that they would be on their way at about 1:30. It rained cats and dogs at about 11:20 and kept raining. A party of 14 had come in at 10:30 and kept playing till close, but that party of 20 was supposed to pay good money. Enough for us to be able to go to SW Weekends. That didn't look as if it was gonna happen yesterday...

Like I said, I now believe in luck... Today, at about 3 in the afternoon, I called my dad just to say hi (I went to my sister's friend's B-day party so I skipped work today). I call and he picks up. "I really wish you were here" He says, "We have about 3 parties of 20 here and 20 other seperate people!" I jumped for joy!


At this moment, while I'm typing, I'm getting a map ready for the park, all the events listed for the day, and my clothes ready! We're heading out on Thursday!


I remember last year when I went dressed as Ani from Ep. 2, our day got rained out early and it got to the point where hail was shooting everywhere and I actually got a picture of a strike of lightning hitting the tip of the Tower of Terror. So as we were waiting for a ride back to the parking lot, I asked "We'll come back next year right?" my dad goes "yeah..."


If anyone that has already gone to one of the events and happens to have kept their shcedule for the day, can you possibly be able to give me the schedule via typing or email? I just wanna be able to plan out the day evenly. Also, suggestions on what to do and where to go. I've been there for 3 years and new stuff is added every year. Just need to know what should be done first and then the rest for last. I know Steve is gonna be there so I'll try to see if I can go and say hi!

Finally, if anyone knows of a hotel that they stayed at for the weekends that has free wi-fi? I wanna be able to report my day from my computer and upload all my video to youtube from there.
