Once again, I have returned... With a new found love...
Hello fellow bloggers/readers, I am back, once again, from the video game dead... Yes, I realize I haven't posted any of my reviews for a while. It's been hard to keep on top of things with school and what not going on. (I'm sure I mentioned that in another blog recently but at 7:18 at night with barely 5 hours of sleep each night, I think it's kinda hard to remember and process things easily)

Well, I'm going to try to get back onto things. I might not be able to put out reviews for any of the past Clone Wars shows except the last one, but I will surely be posting for the upcoming ones due to there being no homework now for a while.

So, my explanation for being absent for so long... Well, BioShock has been brought much more into my life than ever before. For those of you who don't know what BioShock is, you should check it out here. Anyhow, I started playing it out of boredom one day and started to delve deeper into the story line of the game and became much more intrigued than the first time I beat the game. At first playthrough, I didn't exactly understand Jack's, the protagonist, predicament. I'm not going to spoil anything here but I did see how deep and how thorough the story is. I analyzed the game much more to realize that this is truly worthy to be my favorite game of all time. My favorite games have only changed 3 times over the course of my 11 year (so far) experience of playing video games. 1st was Super Smash Bros. (the original) 1999-2001, then 2nd was the Halo series 2001-2008, and now BioShock 2008-2009. My choices don't change often. My love for the game began when I first heard bad things about it, I had just begun reviewing games for a hobby for different sites so I thought I would give this a go.

In 2007, for the VGA's on Spike, I was watching to see how many awards Halo 3 would take home. Obviously, I was very furious due to a game that I was told was horrible won Game of the Year over the third game in a series of god like games. I saw this, and decided to get the game just because of it's winnings (I do this every year if I don't have the game because I want to see why it earned it's unique award). With BioShock, I soon found out. I saw Mass Effect won a good amount of awards as well and looked fascinating at E3. I went to my local gamestop to get Mass Effect and (this is before I learned of most Gamestop employee's dishonesty toward customers but this was an honest opinion). I asked one of the guys working their at the time which game I should get. Mass Effect or BioShock. I had a new copy of each game in my hand and both were obsessing over how amazing Mass Effect was. I looked at BioShock and I heard in my head as I was looking at it: "Would you kindly just buy me already..." So I instantly just bought the game without a thought. (For those who understand what that meant, props to you) Went home, put it in, played it and forgot about for months... Until I picked it up again... My life is now changed... I hate to say it but it's changed almost as much as when I first set my eyes upon that background of space with the Imp Star Destroyer attacking the Tantive IV.

Not saying that I love BioShock more than Star Wars, SW always comes first in my book, but BioShock is pretty damn close. Trust me, being Star Was fans, you can easily appreciate the story line and all the plot twists that BioShock somewhat adapts from Star Wars. But, really, if you have a good PC or Xbox 360 go get BioShock out there used for about $20 for each console.

Anyhow, that's what's been keeping me so long... surely I will return to my usual updates ASAP.

Thanks so much for understanding and hope to see you soon!
