Shedding My Own Light(sabers)
I'm a 30 year Star Wars fan that still wishes he had a real light saber to wave around. While I own and enjoy the books and games, it all comes back to the movies. When I have watched the movies at various times over the last 3 years, both in parts and in their entirety, these are my observations, thoughts, reactions, and analysis. Sometimes deep, sometimes silly, but always Star Wars.

As I was watching Return of the Jedi, and hearing Yoda talk to Luke about avoiding the mistakes of Vader and not letting the dark side dominate, I thought about how little doses of dark side seemed to help the Jedi defeat Sith.

Before Revenge of the Sith, I often pondered why Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi (the last two Jedi it seemed) didn't confront Palpatine and Vader in a two-on-two battle of Jedi vs. Sith.
