Once again, congratulations to the "Jedi Youngling Class of a Long Time Ago." I'd like to now introduce your special graduation speaker. He has been a member of the Jedi Council for hundreds of years, and a member of the Jedi Order for even longer than that. He has trained all of you younglings; he has taken Padawans into Knighthood, and he has guided Knights on the path to being Jedi Masters.
Here is Jedi Master Yoda...
Graduates, you are. Jedi, you may become.
But always in motion is the future.
Trained you have been. Ready you are.
Do or do not... there is no try. Mind what you have learned. Save you it can!
Entering the "real galaxy" you are. Asking what is in there?
Only what you take with you.
Do not be afraid of the future.
Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
Still afraid, are you?
But beware. Anger, fear, aggression. The dark side are they. Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
Worried about large galaxy, you may be. Worried only about a small contribution you make?
Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you.
Dangerous, being a Jedi is. Some may die.
Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.
Not sure if ready to graduate, you are?
What know you of ready? For eight hundred years have I rained Jedi. My own counsel will I keep on who is to be trained. A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind.
Go forth. Masters, you will find. May the Force be with you all.
