So, it's been awhile since I've posted and usually I end the year with a grab bag blog post of assorted stuff. since I'm about a week late this year, I'll keep it brief:
Star Wars audio books are very well produced and a lot of fun to listen to. I get mine through Audible. They're abridged, which is an occasional problem, but otherwise quite good. However, I've deceided a narrator is key. The "dramatized" versions sound too much like an old time radio play and it gets tiresome hearing the actual character explain details they wouldn't otherwise talk about. The voice acting is still fine, as is the production quality.
The new Star Wars Encyclopedia is a fine looking and informative product. Nice job Dan and Pablo (and everyone else, of course). BTW, I've seen some art from the RPG in there, so they're really pulling from all kinds of sources.
The Clone Wars series has been a lot of fun so far. I like the humor and especially the space battles.
The KOTOR comic series is still going strong. The brand-spanning Vector series was OK.
I'm enjoying Aaron Alberg's work more the more I hear/read of it.
Stormtrooper Poetry is funnier than you would think (it's a feature of the recent episodes of the Order 66 podcast).
