SW Minis Fan Sites
There is no shortage of dedicated Star Wars fans. There's also no shortage of dedicated gamers. Together, they can create excellent Star Wars gaming websites. I'm always amazed by the amount of sheer effort that goes into some of these ventures.

When it comes to Star Wars Miniatures, these are some of the best sites I've seen. If you're interested in finding more, check out the links section on many of these pages. Other links can also be found in various threads on the official Wizards of the Coast message boards.

Star Wars Miniatures
The miniatures game currently available from Wizards of the Coast.

SWMiniatures 3D - Most miniatures players love to use terrain. Even though the minis game is designed to be played on a 2D grid, that hasn't stopped these fans from making 3D paper models. These look fantastic, can be printed on cardstock on your own printer, and best of all they're free. (Actually, they have to be free due to liscensing, copyright, etc.) They are absolutely amazing.

swShoebox.com - A good site for tracking your minis collection and building your squads.

The Holocron - This site has a number of fan created custom maps and terrain tiles that you can print out on your own printer.

Base Contact - More custom maps and tiles.

Star Wars Miniatures Battles
WotC's game wasn't the first Star Wars Miniatures line. West End Games' version was a squad based traditional minis game (Metal figures you painted yourself). Even thought the game has been out of print for many years, fans continue to play.

Star Wars Miniature Battles YVR Sector - This link goes directly to a gallery of one of their recent convention events. This is the most amazing custom SW miniatures battles terrain I've seen - a HUGE ewok village.

Lord Magnus's Realm - a few scenarios for SWMB.

Look for a future post with sites from just as dedicated RPG fans.
