I know it's only March, but the May issue of Scrye magazine is already on store shelves. Seems early for a May issue, but I guess that figures, since the scenario I wrote for them was one of the quickest jobs I've ever produced AND by far the quickest turnaround from writing to publishing of any game product I've ever done. That includes the website scenarios, too.

The scenario itself is, of course, for Star Wars Miniatures, in support of the new Attack on Endor Scenario Pack. Called Get the Walker!, it recreates the part of the battle of Endor where Chewbacca and a couple of ewoks commandeer an AT-ST.

Yes, Ewoks! Partially in response to the outcry of ewok fans everywhere (and there are more of them than you'd think), this is the first published Attack on Endor scenario to feature the furry little Destroyers of the Empire. And destroy they do. The scenario includes a new scenario rule for the dreaded Swinging Log trap, ready to crush ususpecting scout walkers into so much scrap metal.

Back to Chewbacca....you can use another new scenario rule to have Chewie swing from the tall trees above to board the walker, just like in Return of the Jedi. Sure, it isn't easy, but it is fun.

PS - Just noticed that the scenario lists the Stormtrooper Commander instead of the Stormtrooper Officer, which is included in the Endor pack. The scenario should work equally well with either one.
