Jabba's Rancor Part 2: The Birthday Present is now available at the Wizards of the Coast site. This is part 2 of 3 in my Jabba's Rancor series.

Having survived both crew and the subsequent, inevitable shipwreck in part 1, the Rancor now lurks in the shattered remains of Gizzid's ill fated craft. The local Jawas, unable to deal with such a vicious creature, have sold the salvage rights to Bidlo Kwerve. Bidlo is hoping to find something suitable to give to Jabba the Hutt for his birthday, so as to secure a prime position in the Hutt's criminal empire. The Rancor will make an excellent present...if he can capture it. He'll have to brave a dangerous, collapsing wreck to do so. Not to mention the Rancor itself.

If only Bidlo was a better con man, Bib Fortuna might not have shown up at just the wrong moment to share in the present. Ultimately he profits greatly from it at Bidlo's even greater expense.

So, in this scenario, Jabba's henchmen take on the most challenging task of capturing the Rancor. The rancor gets the first move, but the criminals have a few tricks of their own.
