It's been awhile, but Wizards posted my latest scenario, Insertion Point, today. Some fans requested a Clone Wars style scenario many months ago. With all of the Alliance and Empire previews, Saga Edition previews and the actual release of the games (plus some freelancing on my part), it took awhile before there was space available on the site (not to mention time for me to write it).

Anyway, I had this one in mind for awhile, and the results were pretty good. The Republic must protect their invasion force to get enough ships through CIS defenses to invade the planet used in my earlier DroidWorks Assault scenario, from the Clone Strike set of long ago. Yes, it's a prequel. The setup and use of multiple targets encourages the fleets to move around - no standing and shooting from afar! Or at least not much of it.

The second Saga Edition Web Enhancement is also up, discussing adventure design, which happens to be my favorite aspect of RPG design. This is one of the better articles I've read for awhile on the subject and breaks down a Star Wars encounter very well.

As I'm sure everyone has seen by now, the latest Force Unleashed game trailer is up over at lucasarts and yahoo. Looks good. I also happened to notice today that the amazon listing for the SW RPG Force Unleashed Campaign Guide now lists a March 18, 2008 release date. As you can tell, these things change, so I've no idea if that is the final release date.


Update: The Wizards of the Coast catalog confirms it will be March 18, 2008.
