Well, as I'm sure you all know, there is a Jedi code and a Sith code. I have recently become fascinated with these items. But you may not know that there are also Jedi and Sith philosophies. The codes are the laws of the Jedi and the Sith, whereas the philosophies are their beliefs. What is not known however, is what exactly the prophesy is. We only hear that the Jedi have a prophesy, but could the Sith have one, too? Could it be the same one? All we know is that a powerful chosen one will bring balance to the force. We may never know. But compare the codes and philosophies. You will notice the many similarities and differences of these powerful words.

JEDI CODE

There is no emotion, there is peace.

JEDI PHILOSOPHY

Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.
Jedi respect all life, in any form.
Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy.
Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.

SITH CODE

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

SITH PHILOSOPHY

Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate.
Hatred leads to power. Power leads to victory.
Let your anger flow through you. Your hate will make you strong.
True power is only achieved through testing the limits of one's anger,
passing through unscathed. Rage channeled through anger is unstoppable.
The dark side of the Force offers unimaginable power.
The dark side is stronger than the light. The weak deserve their fate.
