Celebration III
Celebration III was awesome! I know it is a little too late for this, but I will tell you about my experience....

First, in the car, I was listening to the radio. The song playing was "...Celebrate good times, come on...." That was very ironic considering that was, well...you know what I mean.

I then tried to find a parking spot, and I saw the line! There was only one word to describe how huge the line was- "WOW." It was so exciting, yet I could already feel the freezing rain.

I had a Saturday pass, so I went to see what was going on in the line. I then heard that there were three lines, and the one I was near (the Fan Club line) was the worst of all. The non-member line was not as bad, so I went there. Someone was kind enough to give me some Friends and Family passes for the people I was with. He also gave me direction for the Celebration store line. I went into that.

I stood in line for over 2 hours in the freezing rain. I talked to the others in line, which is what this was all about, right? One lady gave me tips on where to go and what to do. Just then, the line seemed as though it would go on for days, but then a worker came by (most of the workers weren't very friendly.)

He asked if we would like to come see the George Lucas show. We hurried in there, not kowing what hit us because it was said to have been filled to capacity. As we went throught the endless strands of velvet rope and barriers, we finally got to our destination- the ballroom. I was the first one in my row, so of course the workers would say "hurry up!" I would then walk at a quick pace, and they would say, "no running!"

Seeing the George Lucas show was a one-of-a-kind experience. The excitement was awesome waiting for him to come out. There was one guy who stood up, and people cheered, but we son realized he was a Lucas look-a-like. The real Lucas came out and answered many questions, and told us many things, along with Jay and Rick.

After the show, I got something to eat and ate it so fast, saying "there's so much to do!" After I ate my pizza in one bite, I went into the exhibit hall. It was enormous, and the was so much merchendise! I was amazed at all the figures they had there. I got a Silver Anniversary R2D2 and a ROTS Red Royal Guard. I also got Jedi and Sith posters along with a lot of freebees. I loved Hasbro's booth with all the upcoming merchendise. I also loved all of the promotional booths. Lego had amazing displays also.

After I left the exhibit hall, I went to the fan club lounge to...well, lounge. I saw Jake Lloyd through the crowd. I then went to see the Musical, which was hilarious, and then the One Man Trilogy. He was absolutely awesome at everything (did I mention that, with the exception of the exhibit hall, was the only thing I did not have to stand in line for?)

I then went in line to see the Spectacular footage, and boy was it spectacular! I cannot wait to see Revenge of the Sith! Rick answered many questions. We got to see the footage twice because some people left early right after the footage. So he said, "Hey let's show it again; they're missing out!"

After that, I went in line to the Archive Exhibit. That Vader costume...excuse me, THE Vader costume, was completely awesome! The costumes, puppets, and models they had in there were really cool!

I went to the Exhibit Hall one last time before departing. I never did get into the shop, but I later got the Vader figure and a t-shirt online. The overall experience was very fun, and I loved it. I did a lot and was very lucky for going there only one day. The employees were somewhat rude, and they did not know how to manage. Dispite the lack of crowd control they had, I was not brought down. I will never forget Star Wars Celebration III, the biggest Star Wars party EVER! :D
