Sith/Darth Domoax's Teachings (Sith Timeline/History)
Welcome back... as promised tonight I will be discussing the timeline of the Sith as Part II of a blog I wrote last night (http://blogs.starwars.com/sith-archives66/20/comments). I have always been curious about the Sith and fascinated by them, but there is such little known about them. Lucas gives us hundreds of little clues that I'm not going to get into, but there is little known about the start of them. There is also little written about the reign of the Sith, their fall, and their so called "extinction", to begin with and whatever there is written I cannot get myself to believe or accept much of it since I absolutely hate EU (with the exception of the following: Cloak of Deception Novel, Labyrinth of Evil [which I plan on reading soon], Revenge of the Sith Novel by Matt Stover, Dark Lord Rise of Darth Vader [which I am currently loving to read and will eventually write a review blog on when I finish- I have 23 other blogs lined up to post that I wrote before I had hyperspace so I have no clue when I will write the review for it], the KOTOR video game franchise, the Clone Wars Cartoon, and very few other books, but usually I absolutely despise EU and the authors) so I don't like reading up on a lot of stuff or including them in my theories, which narrows down what I can believe in and accept as part of my personal vision of the Star Wars Universe and Saga. Anyway getting back to my earlier point, before I got sidetrack and rambled on, I had little way of knowing about the Sith History, though I was so infatuated with it, so I decided to do a little research and came up with some nice results. Granted I cannot take credit for this timeline because I found it a very long time ago and copied and pasted the parts that applied to the sith, while still being plausible (I did write in a couple of things that I knew, as well). Anyway I hope you enjoy and if your still reading or returning from last night, thanks for sticking with me.

*25,000 BBY:
-The first hyperdrive is invented

*Unknown date after discovery of force and appearance of Jedi:
-Certain Jedi decree that certain powers are "Dark" powers and used only for attack. Therefore, no Jedi is to use these powers- they are strictly forbidden. After a brief quarrel over whether or not to use these powers several Jedi leave the order and start their own order conceived by their greed/one Jedi leaves the order and converts others to his cause. Both orders flourished, but naturally conflict was inevitable as they both sought power and Jedi fought for peace and protected others, while Sith fought for personal gain and took advantage over others.
-No one knows which side struck first, but war erupted sealing each other's as archenemies.

Michelle 1968- lol thanks. Glad to see you came back.
Seawalker12- BBY= Before the Battle of Yavin and ABY Means After the Battle of Yavin.

Writers and timelines also tend to use BBE (Before the Birth of the Empire) and ABE (After the Birth of the Empire) or BBG (before the Battle of Geonosis) and ABG (After the Battle of Geonosis), but generally the timeline is best used as BBY and ABY, especially because that was the first classification that was given to the Star Wars history/timeline (way before the Prequels came out).

Thank you both again for commenting.

Darth-Razik- Thanks for commenting. Haven't heard of that book... I'll have to check it out.

By the way... to anyone reading this who is wondering why many things are left out, when I wrote this blog I hadn't played KOTOR II (Knights of the Old Republic II) yet and I didn't want to look any information up about it or include it into this blog so I could be surprised when I finally played it. I just recently beat the first level and will begin to edit this blog to include info on the Jedi Civil War, Mandalorian War (which somehow I forgot about when I wrote the blog), and other events as I get further into the game and learn more about them.

Episode VI Ups and Downs- 9:45 P.M. Eastern Time on Monday
and finally:
Clone War Cartoon Volumes 1 & 2 Ups and Downs- 9:45 P.M. on Tuesday night.

Also coming up (towards the end of next week) is my review of Dark Lord the Rise of Darth Vader, which I am almost done with.

Good blog! I bet this took a lot of effort! ::Spoiler Warning:: This next site contains informatio that may spoil KOTOR I and II, any EU books with referance to the Sith, and any Comics. Here is the full history of the Sith. I have a similiar blog, The Voridian Galaxy: BBY. It is about the Star Wars(Voridian) Galaxy in the BBY times. It is a timeline. It has some Sith in it.
