[Edited Entry]: The true bloggers, gone they are...
[Begin Edit]: First off let me just apologize if anyone took any offense to this entry. It was not meant to offend anyone and the original title was supposed to be a funny reference to what Yoda says, not seriously calling ALL bloggers stupid.

In my comments I retracted several statements and summarized my feelings up with "I'm not saying we should get rid of the day-to-day-blogs or the joke blogs, but that we should not forget to write about good theories. I am also not saying EVERY blog has been bad, but a lot of them have been." And I also agreed to check out some other blogs and people gave me some suggestions as well that might make me stay around.

It was not meant to upset people, it was meant to alert people to the fact that there are fewer and fewer theories written now-a-days. I also considered disabling comments, but ultimately decided not to in case anyone had any thoughtful suggestions. I apologize if anyone thought I was ripping on EVERY SINGLE blogger, it was not my intention as I've stated many times. The original title was meant as a joke too not to be taken as a literal title.

Also, let me say that I might have exaggerated on how long I was away. the last time I wrote a blog was sometime in May (with the exception of the last few this past week and my Battlefront II Clan Blog). What I meant was that the last time I READ blogs was about 8 month ago (or some other really long period of time).

Also before I start getting hate mail please be sure to read my comments I posted as I probably addressed an issue you are upset with.

[originalblog]:

Before you comment read the note at the bottom.

You have all failed me. When I first joined Star Wars I always went on reading the blogs and thinking of my own theories. "One day I am going to join hyperspace and start my own blog and post my own theories," I thought. Finally I got Hyperspace and began posting my blogs and theories and everything was fine. But over the past year I have spent less and less time writing blogs, less and less time reading blog, and less and less time on the star wars website period. (In fact, today is the first day in over 8 months I have even went to the star wars website.)

It saddens me to even write this blog and also waste up space in my counter of how many I am allowed to have, let alone have this opinion, but it seems you have all failed in the concept of blogging. Back when Star Wars first came out (Ep. III) everyone would post theories and such things and we would all debate about them. But as time went on things sort of cooled off; we don't get anymore blogs about theories and such things anymore. Instead we have blogs about peoples boring day to day lives and jokes of the week. Now while these jokes might be amusing, we should not abandon writing theories. It really is pathetic some of the things that are written in blogs.

I have not read a good blog or theory in over a year and have completely lost faith in starwars.com, its bloggers, and almost star wars fans in general. The death of theories is the death of philosophy. The death of philosophy is the death of good blogs. The death of good blogs is the death of what made Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith so good. Without philosophy and theories, Star Wars wouldn't be as interesting as it is.

Whatever happenned to writers like DLZ (Dark Lord Zor) who would always write such intelligible blogs that would really make you think about some of the theories and concepts behind the movies? Thats what blogging should really be for.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying that we should get rid of joke blogs and blogs about other various things... I'm just saying we should continue writing about theories.

I will continue to write a fast series of blogs everyday simply to have my theories in print. I will take the time to make them well-written, grammatically correct, and long. I will do this purely to see my theories written out in print and for anyone who agrees with me or wants to see well-written blogs with actual theories. I am doing this for myself and other true star wars fans who crave theories and want to learn about the philosophy of Star Wars.

While I will continue writing well-written theories, I will also be continuing my 20- somewhat part blog about reviews for every star wars book, magazine, and video game I have read/played. I hope some of you will agree with me at least partially in what I am saying here today and stand with me.

Note: Please do not take offense to anything in here, this was not meant to bash people or to put-down other bloggers, it was meant to try to get people to start writing theories in blogs. I do not dislike the joke blogs, and please whoever writes those joke of the day/week do not be offended, many of them are good, but I feel blogs should also include theories, which people have stopped writing.

Thank you and good day!
