Rebel Casualties
Rogue 1 - Dack Ralter was killed when an AT-AT hit the speeder, and later it was downed and destroyed by Blizzard 4. Luke Skywalker escaped and then destroyed Blizzard 4.
Rogue 2 - Destroyed by an AT-AT.
Rogue 4 - Destroyed when it collided with Blizzard 1. Hobbie survived, it is unknown if Ommis did.
Snowspeeder - Downed by Blizzard 1 before it destroyed the shield generator.
Snowspeeder - Piloted by Samoc Farr, was downed but Samoc survived with burns.
It is said that only 6 Rogue Squadron pilots survived, these being...
Luke
Wedge
Janson
Hobbie
Tycho Celchu
Tarn Mison
This sort of means that Kesin Ommis did not survive, and he could have been killed when Rogue 4 collided with Blizzard 1, but it is unknown.
I don't think that Samoc Farr was a proper Rogue Squadron member, but an extra pilot, like Dash Rendar, who was rostered in at the last minute.
Echo Base and all it's defence facilities were lost, along with a good deal of troops. Nearly 100 injured troops made their way to the last transport - Bright Hope on the South Slope, and it's possible that other transports were filled like this. I will go into more detail on this in my next entry, on the evacuation of Hoth.
