The Rebels had been severely routed to the north of Echo Base by Blizzard Force and so once the power generator fell, Leia Organa ordered the giving of the evacuation code signal, so all troops fell back towards the South Slope, where the transports were taking off from, with their escorts of fighters.

With the shield down, the Empire was free to deploy TIE Bombers in order to bombard the fleeing transports. The remaining pilots of Rogue Squadron returned to the evacuation point and switched from their snowspeeders to X-wings.

Rebel Forces
Quantum Storm - First transport to escape from Hoth, with 2 X-wings as escort. The Ion cannon disabled the Star Destroyer Tyrant so that the Quantum Storm could escape.
Otana - YT-2000 transport owned by the Amazzeens. Was escorted off-planet by X-wings Green Leader & Green 2. The Ion Cannon disabled a Star Destroyer, and the X-wings returned to the surface.
Outrider - YT-2400 transport owned by Dash Rendar. After participating in the snow battle, Dash escaped from Echo Base and got past the blockade.
Thon's Orchard - Transport which escaped late on in the battle; possibly escorted by Hobbie and Janson in a Y-wing.
Dutyfree - Transport piloted by Tarrin Datch and escorted by Luke and Wedge. It was commanded by Areta Bell.
Bright Hope - Last transport to leave Hoth, commanded by Toryn Farr; escorted to space by Tarn Mison. It carries many wounded soldiers to safety.
Millennium Falcon - Han, Leia, Chewie and C-3PO escape Hoth, but not the Death Squadron. They fly into the Hoth asteroid field and then hide on the back of the Star Destroyer Avenger, before heading for Bespin.

Luke Skywalker - Luke pilots his X-wing to escort Dutyfree off-world, and then heads for Dagobah.
Wedge Antilles - Wedge assists Luke to escort Dutyfree, and then accompanies it to the rendezvous point.
Hobbie Klivian - Hobbie and Janson pilot a Y-wing to escort a transport to safety. I think that they possibly escorted Thon's Orchard.
Wes Janson - Janson accompanies Hobbie in a Y-wing.
Tarrin Datch - Tarrin pilots the transport Dutyfree.
Tarn Mison - Tarn flies as an escort to Bright Hope, and then heads to the rendezvous point, before the Mist Hunter disables the transport.
Kesin Ommis - Kesin survives the collision of Rogue 4 and Blizzard 1 with minor injuries, but it is unknown whether or not he flies a ship for escort duty. It is possible that he is onboard Dutyfree.
Tycho Celchu - Tycho probably escorts a transport. If so, I believe it could have been Thon's Orchard.

Rebel Casualties

16 Rebel Transports - These were disabled and stripped by the Death Squadron.
Bright Hope - Disabled by 4-LOM & Zuckuss. However, the bounty hunters decided that it would be best to rescue the rebels, instead, and so 18 of the people onboard were fired back to Hoth in the escape pods, while Toryn Farr and the remaining survivors were taken to safety in Mist Hunter. The passengers sent back to Hoth were rescued shortly after.

Imperial Forces

Executor - Super Star Destroyer and flagship of the Death Squadron.
Avenger - Star Destroyer commanded by Captain Needa and which lead the chase of the Millennium Falcon.
Accuser - Star Destroyer.
Stalker - Star Destroyer which launched the Probe that found Echo Base.
Adjudicator - Star Destroyer.
Tyrant - Star Destroyer commanded by Captain Lennox, which was disabled by Echo Base's ion cannon.
Conquest - Star Destroyer.
Corrupter - Star Destroyer hit by an ion cannon when Otana escaped and was then damaged further by Millennium Falcon.
Star Destroyer - Bridge destroyed by asteroid.

Imperial Casualties

Corrupter - This is the ship that the ion cannon and Millennium Falcon attacked.
Star Destroyer - Most likely disabled when bridge was destroyed in the asteroid field.
