Not really a book review, but my 6 yo and I have started reading together
As predicted here, this is a book related blog. Not for my reading, though, for my 6 year old's.

A has decided that he wants to read chapter books before bedtime, and many of my fondest memories from childhood are of my parents reading books to me, so we gave it a go. The first book we read together was the first "Boba Fett" book, The Fight to Survive. I'm the Mando fan in the house, so while the book was interesting for A, it was probably more interesting for me. He did like to find out about "all the stuff that they couldn't put in the movie". When we finished that book he asked if there were any books we could read about Obi-Wan. As it happens, I have actually read the Jedi Apprentice YA series and have the books. So, we started The Rising Force last night.

He can't get enough of it! He begs to read more chapters at night (past his bed time!). The first thing he asks for in the morning is to please read another chapter.

Warms my mommy heart, it does :)
