 | An entry about our 3 budding Star Wars fans. |
Well, our 6 year old developed a "Star Wars LEGO" game for his Kindergarten recess. He has buy-in from his entire class, including the boy that doesn't like Star Wars. He couldn't be happier. He's built an entire collection of Naboo spaceships from the LEGOs we had around the house - no kits, just odd bits of LEGOs. The kid is good.
Our youngest, a girl, has chosen a nice flowery purse to carry around her 10 clone troopers. She has a nice assortment of weapons for both them and herself. The key to the whole operation will be getting her to stop shooting her two brothers at point-blank range with sucker-darts. She watched "Braveheart" with daddy tonight. She calls it "the horse movie".
M hasn't done anything particularly Star Wars related today. He generally comes up with all kinds of good questions about the movies. Sometimes I wish I had Dark Moose's phone number. I'm sure he could come up with much better answers than I do.
One of A's friends from Kindergarten is going to "Libby Lou" tonight. The kids dress up in fancy clothes and get makeup. Like I told one of my friends: "Now, if they had Mando or Stormtrooper armor that they could dress your kid into, I'd be right there!" Makeup? Fancy clothes? Meh. Maybe I'm just too much of an engineer.
