A good friend of mine sent this link to a slide show dedicated to our men and women serving abroad. The authoring company is American, but I think I saw some UK pattern camo in there, too. There are some powerful images in there.

Wow. Very moving, especially the pics with the children, and the one of the girl holding the sign "My daddy, my hero". Certainly puts things in perspective! Thanks for sharing.

It is a very moving slide show. What really hit me was that to my eyes, many of those soldiers are so young, like your uncle was.

Softened even my hard heart. I've lost brothers in arms in Desert shield, Panama, and the current ordeal. Always support the soldiers even if you are against the war. Soldiers are just doing their job, it's not personal.
