My Sacrifice...My Radio Drama.
Star Wars Fandom! Isn't it great. We get it all. Toys. Books. Stationary. Games. Puzzles. Celebrations. ect...But the one thing we dont get...Free money to buy it all. This week brought in the new Legacy of the Force book, Sacrifice. Now, I will start out by saying I have it. How I got it, of course, is a whole 'nother story.

I will start by saying...I am broke. My work keeps stiffing me my pay checks and my wife is pregnant and cant work half the time thus...No money. Of course, like all of us I NEED THIS. You see books are my thing. Some people collect toys...I collect books. I have just about every book and only have to read 6 or 7 to have them all read. So, I called my mom and said, 'hey you want to give me 20 bucks?' She said, 'sure if you clean my room.' I said, 'sure'. My mom hasn't cleaned her room in 2 years. I will add, of course, that she isn't a messy person. The problem is she uses feminine powder. It was everywhere just caked on everything. I dusted four times after I was done and still ended with a layer of dust. I got my book though and I am reading it now.

I deliver newspapers so I have a Microsoft Zune and I put audiobooks and other stuff on it then just plug it in to my radio and do my job. This weekend I have been listening to the Star Wars Radio Dramas. I am in pressed that was the first time I ever listened to them. I really hope they do more radio dramas. Having EP 1, 2 & 3 would be awesome. Or just do an series of like 20 episodes of a brand new EU storyline. That would be sooooooo cool. They can put it on local public radio stations or do it as a podcast. Of course, they would need to make money so they can sell the podcast for like $1 an episode, then 50¢ for Hyperspace members.

I'm off to bed later.
