George is getting yet another Lifetime Achievement Award from the AFI. Is there anyone more deservable? The man hasn't won an Oscar for Star Wars since 1977 because of the pure hipocracy of the studio system in Hollywood. But noone, absolutely noone can deny him the Lifetime Achievement Award from any organization, be it the Oscars or AFI or what have you.

I had tickets to go to the Kodak Theater today for the event and my maid threw them away on accident, can you believe that nonsense. I was looking forward to this day for like a month and here I am ticketless. I gotta fire that moron. But I am reminded of Yoda with this predicament. "Excitement, heh, adventure, heh, a Jedi craves not these things." Star Wars lines can always ground me no matter how big or small the predicament is.
