It's been a while since my last blog entry and I regret it but I'm back and hopefully writing regularly again.
I've decided to focus this article on past games and how I would like the future to correct errors and reflect past values.
I've been thinking after reading the Star Wars Legacy of the Force series of books that maybe it would be good if we had an RPG set during that period of time. I'm not saying people should necessarily play the main characters (though I would love too) but its an idea.
My other issue is lack of platform support. i still refuse to believe that Lucas arts had any reason to withhold development of a PC version of the Force Unleashed and I still abide by this. I'm sure many of you feel the same way after all Star Wars has never faulted on a PC version of Star Wars games yet (except Episode III although to be honest was that worth porting?) they seem to not want to release the game why? - I smell a Halo 2 for Vista all over again.
I guess what I'm saying is that I wish LucasArts would consider the platform in the future as it appears too late for the Force unleashed (guys I'm going by surfing the net on this one but if anyone has veritable proof its coming out on PC please make my day and post a comment)
I want the Star Wars story to be more developed the emotions of characters more deeply explored in future games, the emphasis on the struggle in choosing between the light and dark paths, fully explorable worlds non-linear game-play (I guess I want KOTOR III) and next-gen graphics to top it all off.
Oh and if you haven't read the Legacy of the Force books please do they're great.
I think to top it all off I may start doing some non-conventional game guides post comments if you're interested.
Oh and if you haven't got the hint I like discussion so please people post a comment or two I won't ignore them
