I would like to know from those budding young Star Wars Artists if there is any interest in a web guide to Star Wars Sketching. I'm not talking about how to draw a character- go and see Cynthia Cummens' site for some great tips on that:

I'm planning on a step by step guide to planning your own piece of artwork, and then tips on drafting to finishing a drawing. All of the factors one needs to consider. The plan is to get people thinking about what they are doing. Do I chose a frame from a film or make up poses etc. Also Iwill give some advice on drawing for young artist thinking about getting into drawing. Anyone who would liek to contribute who has already put together something - great let me know and I'll link to it.
There are thousands, if not millions of artist out there like me who want to become registered Star Wars Artists. I wish I could give you a how to guide for becoming one. Maybe if I do get to be one, I can write it up. The first few pointer would be: one, is you need lots of talent, two, and lots of luck and three, knowing the right people - well that always helps. The other things you need are ideas. That's the thing that can often make a good drawing fantastic - it's the creative approach to creativity. This is what I want to cover. How can we make something stand out from being just a straight copy of a photo to being an interpretation that is trying to say something.
Ambitious I know. but that's one of the things I want to do is to share my experiences in my journey and share some of my experience as an artist. I'm 37 (arrrggh I said it out loud) so I've got a few years worth of drawing under my belt (along with my trusty
light saber).
So I look forward to your response.
