New Art: Children of the Grave

I did a pin-up for IDW's upcoming "Children of the Grave" TPB, which hits stores in July, and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. Here's my art. It'll also have a cover by Dan Brereton (one of my all-time favorite artists) so I hope you guys will all check it out.

Well, hopefully this answers your question -- I always start with the head. I like to start with the nose or eyes usually. The best way to learn is just to practice, and never be afraid to use reference!
