I should have elaborated on that... They were looking for published writers. At the time, I was writing underground comic books. We're they published? I guess that depends on your definition of published. Technically I was, but on the resume, I may have left out that my comics were obscure, and could only be found in the Michigan area...

Certainly I'm not suggesting anyone lies. But I do suggest that you have to sell yourself as best as you can. Never lie about anything, but leave out the stuff that folks don't need to know.
