The Making of Spike Vs. Dracula #2 Cover

Hey Everyone,

If you're picking up my new Spike Vs. Dracula series from IDW Publishing I really hope that you're enjoying it so far. The first two issues are on sale at a local comic book shop near you and the third issue should be on stands any day now.

Ooh, it's terrific! I have to admit that I was sucked (every pun intended) into both Buffy and Angel by my best friend who lavished me with both full series on DVD last year. Your first cover and this one so perfectly captures Drusilla and Spike (my guilty pleasure

).

I love seeing the transition from sketch to finished product. Shame on me for not knowing about your weekly column at WFC. I'm so behind.

Wonderful stuff, Joe. As usual...you inspire.

date Posted: Apr 23, 2006 10:09 PM Does it explain at all how Drac has abilities the other vamps don't? It always annoyed me on the Drac meets Buffy episode that nothing was explained.

In the first few pages of the first issue Peter David does in fact explain how and why Dracula has powers that the other vampires (like Spike, Angel, et.c) do not have

date Posted: May 01, 2006 4:49 AM Unfortunately I have not been able to get to my local comic book store lately because I am getting married June 24 and the brides mom refuses to help with the wedding at all. The title sounds fascinating. Here is a suggestion for a sequel Spike,Dracula,and Blade in a royal rumbel.
