This news just came in from my pal Tom Mandrake - Zombie Prom won *two* awards at the Comic-Con Independent Film Festival, The Judge's Choice Award and the top honors, Best Comic-Oriented Film!

On Thursday, July 20th Zombie Prom played at Comic Con in San Diego, California as part of the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival and I attended the screening along with Star Wars artists Justin Chung, Jan Duursema and ZP Art Director Tom Mandrake. Our work involved creating a "comic book in the movie"-- an homage to the EC horror and romance comics of the '50s. The sound design, editorial and mix were all completed at Skywalker Sound as well.

Zombie Prom previously won the Indie Soul Best Picture Award in the Short Film category at the Boston International Film Festival on June 15th and it also took home the Best Short Film Award at the Palm Beach International Film Festival earlier this April.
