Star Trek: Klingons: Blood Will Tell #1 Cover Sneak Preview
IDW Publishing has recently posted a sneak preview at their website of my cover art for the first issue of their upcoming series, Star Trek: Klingons: Blood Will Tell, so I thought I'd let everyone know you can now view this new art in my MySpace blog too.

I also provided the cover for the fifth issue of their new series, Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Space Between, so keep your eyes peeled on IDW.com for that soon. It features Data (prominently), Picard, Riker and Worf along with the Enterprise D. I'll post another update as soon as they solicit that issue with the cover art.

I'm a *Star Wars* fan first and foremost (as if there was ever any question) but I've always had a soft spot for Trek since watching the reruns of the original series (or TOS) as a kid on Sunday afternoons with my dad. Then later on I became a Next Generation junkie in college so both of these Trek covers were a real treat for me to work on.

I'm providing covers for each issue of this new Klingon series so I'll have more Star Trek art on the way in the near future.

I hope you enjoy the new art and I hope everyone has a great new year too!

Nice work!

I just visited your site and am interested in ordering both sketch-books. Are they different in content? Because when opening the 'view inside' option, I get the same images!

Thanks, Eddie! Yep, both sketchbooks contain over 40+ pages of *different* sketches. Volume I came out a little over a year ago and contains some of my older work and Volume II which came out last Summer contains some of my latest and newest work. Also, both sketchbooks contain artwork not seen in my online sketchbook gallery. If you have any more questions drop me a line at joe@joecorroney.com

Those are cool!
I, too, have a soft spot for Star Trek. Always liked the original and then got into the Next Generation. Never really got into the other Trek series, though. I will say that, like you, I am a Star Wars fan first.
There is some drawing talent in my family, too. My brother draws, my husband draws, and my oldest son draws. Will have to see if my other two children have inherited what it takes to be a good artist.

Wow! Just Fantastic! You never cease to amaze me. You definitely have a gift for bringing fantasy to life.:) Looks like I'll have to pay your Myspace a visit, I might have to spoil myself with another art piece of yours;). Hey, I've got plenty of wall space.;

Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us! ~Angel~

If it weren't for work, wife, kids, etc., I would probably be just as into Star Trek as I am into Star Wars. In fact, between about 1985-1995, Star Wars was a non-entity in my life while I was completely into TOS and TNG. Alas, Star Wars ended up winning out and I have only enough room in my life for one all-consuming hobby. :8} Great art, by the way. Amazing stuff.
