While at Barnes & Noble tonight, I picked up the latest issue of Spectrum, an annual collection of the best in contemporary fantasy/sci-fi art. Star Wars artists Chris Trevas and Dave Dorman both have gorgeous work published in the book! Chris painted (digitally, I believe) a fantastic kids illustration called "It Came from Planet X-Mas" and Dave painted a beautiful and haunting figurative piece the name of which I cannot recall at the moment (sorry - I didn't buy the book yet!). Art is juried into the annual and let me tell you, the art in this book is not to be missed! By the way, if you go looking for Chris and Dave's work, it's in the sections labeled "Institutional" and "Unpublished", respectively.
