Hey, how's it going? Well anyways, I have been wanting to post a lot of new blog entries... but man, I've been so busy lately!

Anyways, this blog is about how I am trying to figure out which is better, The Phantom Menace or Revenge of the Sith. Now I know that I am going to get criticised for even comparing the two, in most cases. But for me, it is close.

You see, I prefer the Original Trilogy, and episodes IV, V, and VI are my favorite Star Wars movies (not in that order). So TPM and ROTS are fighting for my 4th favorite SW movie, and my favorite in the Prequel Trilogy.

From what I have heard, most people out there consider ROTS to be by far the best movie in the PT, (if not in the entire Saga). So if you feel this way, please tell me why, and especially why it is better than TPM.

And will anyone who likes TPM more, please give me your oppinions on why it is better.

So to give you my oppinions on the matter so far, I decided to make a list of reasons why I like each movie. (at least for starters)

The Phantom Menace:
-Qui-Gon
-podracing
-battle droids
-young Obi-Wan
-Naboo
-Theed Palace
-it's a pretty happy movie
So those are the main things I guess, I don't have time to put more...

Revenge of the Sith:
-Master Obi-Wan
-clone troopers
-Vader
-Death Star/Tarkin
-Chewbacca
-space battles
-Luke & Leia are born
Like I said before, there are more reasons...but I'm not going to list them all

So I guess one reason that I like TPM more in a way is because it is a happier movie, not as dark as ROTS. (yes, I know that it needed to be)
And a lot of the reasons that I like ROTS are because there are references to the OT, and I guess that I just dont feel that those count as strong reasons to put it as the number one movie in the PT.
