My view on the Kashyyk scene in RotS is that it was a good scene. I was not disappointed at the lack of trees around due to the fact that the whoe scene took place on the shore. Yes I have seen shore lines where there are very few trees around, a good majority of the coast line on the northern shore of the UP MI, and I have seen shore line that have trees right up the water. And besides Kashyyk is a huge planet, who says that the whole planet is covered with gigantic trees. Lucas just gave us a different view of other places on Kashyyk.
