I live in NJ, and twice a year we are blessed with the
Chiller Theatre convention. This is a giant toy/comic show with plenty of all-star guests, actors, artists, wrestlers, etc. I was looking at the guest list for the upcoming Halloween weekend show, and noticed something strange. Not a single Star Wars actor. Not even one.
This strikes me as odd, as every show in the past has always featured a Star Wars actor or two, signing autographs and posing for photos with the fans. Even if it's just David Prowse or Jeremy Bulloch again (I've met each of those guys at least 6 times) it would be nice to have someone there from the Trilogy, especially considering that Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith premieres on DVD the week right after, you would think that
someone would make a showing to promote the DVD... no?
Then again, I guess that DVD doesn't really need much promotion, does it? But it's still disappointing to me that there won't be any actors from my favorite movies there. Of course, I'll be able to meet George Romero for the first time, the director of one of my "other" favorite trilogies
