Hey everyone! Dustin Roberts here from TheForce.net & Rebelscum.com! As many of you know I'm in the running for Star Wars Fan Club President, and if you can help that'd be great!

The contest ends May 15th and the person who gets the most referrals through Hyperspace subscriptions and renewals will win the title of "Star Wars Fan Club President" for one year.

I feel I'm more than qualified for this position as I've been serving your kind for the past ten years both online and off. I've been affiliated with several online websites all of which have made an impact in the Star Wars community.

At Yakface.com we petitioned Hasbro for a Wuher the bartender action figure. 15,0000 signatures later, Hasbro listened and delivered.

At Rebelscum.com I've been reporting collectible news and images on all the great Star Wars licensees we've had to date. The annual Halloween Costume Contest is all done by me and has grown to be the premier online Star Wars Costume Contest! I've been to conventions all over the US and Mexico covering these events so everyone who cannot attend can get a taste of what it is actually like to be there. At Celebration II I was one of the guys pulling autographs for those who did not want to wait in line. At Celebration III I was most likely the one who handed you a free Star Wars is Forever lapel pin.

At TheForce.net I've continued the tradition of maintaining content and continued to provide millions of Star Wars fans worldwide, their "Daily Dose Of Star Wars"!

Over the years I've made numerous friends in the community from Droid Wrangler Don Bies to the guy I struck up a converstaion with in the toy isle at Target. I love to network and it shows. My new MySpace.com website now boasts over 1000 contacts, all of which were made possible through the power of Star Wars!

In the state of Ohio I've earned the respect of my fellow collectors through OSWCC ( pronounced OZWOK ) Enough to where I proudly served two consecutive terms as regional director of Cincinnati. We've seen membership grow, monthly meetings become more like mini-conventions and there is no end in sight!

So before you cast your vote for Star Wars Fan Club President, take all of this into consideration. I think I've proven myself to be a team player as well as an effective leader in the Star Wars community, and I'll strive to do even more should I be elected Fan Club President! I promise I will take the knowledge and skills I've learned over the years, and apply them to running Hyperspace, The Official Star Wars Fan Club!
