Everybody knows that in The Phatom Menace Schmi Skywalker tells Qui-Gon that Anakin was concieved by the force, that there was no father.

At first i thought she might be lying, that Anakins father was of a higher caste, and not allowed to have an affair with a slave.

But the more I thought about it, the more my thoughts changed, and I finally came to the conclusion that Anakin was concieved by the force, that his father was the midicholorians.

The prophecy of the one who would bring balance to the force was known to the Jedi, so was this the reason he was concieved by the force.

It sounds a lot like the story of Jesus, there was a prophecy that said a baby would be born by a virgin mother, and would work miracles.

Now, as I thought of this even more I started thinking of the birth of the twins.(Luke and Leia, not the solo twins.) Since it is apperant at the time that Anakin becomes Darth Vader that he will not bring balance to the force, then perhaps there has to be a new generation of balance bringers.

So, was Anakin physically the father of the twins, or were they also concieved by the force. In Revenge of the Sith when Anakin finds out the Padme is pregnent he appears baffled, is this just because he is afraid of the jedi finding out, or is this becuase he knows he isnt the father?

And finally, if prophecies can see the future wouldnt they see that Anakin was the true bringer of balance to the force, since he was the one who killed palps?
