Anakin Wins

What would of happened if Anakin defeated Obi-Wan in Episode III?

Yes, I know in Episode III the game they have an alternate ending if you beat Obi-Wan with Anakin but would he really turn on his master? Just because he did it once doesn't mean he'll do it agian.

If he didnt turn on Palpatine then he would basicilly be a right hand man for the rest of his life. But if he did then he would rule the galaxy with almost no resistince.

Considering that he lost everying (his best friend, his wife, and he thinks his kid) what would he do?

If he did turn on Palpatine then the Clone Troopers would remain loyal to him since they serve Palpatine AND him and since Palpatine's dead they only have one master.

So the question is would Anakin remain loyal to Palpatine or create his own Empire?

Ok sorry I don't know if I quoted the above right. If Anakin would have killed Obi then the kids probably not have survived. I do not know about 3p0's flying skills but I doubt that he would have flown it by himself. You never know, if Anakin was alive and killed Palps then he might have gone to see Padme because it was not until he left Mustafar that Palps told him that Padme was dead. Anakin may have figured that see was still alive.

Remember Anakin would not have been in the suit. Therefore he would have been much more powerful. Hewould have wrapped himslef in his own despair and harness a deep hatred for Palpatine. Palpatine would likely think of ways to weaken Anakin, less Anakin kills Palps. And Vader would have likely waited. Get himslef a secret apprentice

and kill Palpatine. Good thoughts.

If Anakin had killed Palpatine then I believe that the Senate would have taken over because Anakin was not the heir ( right word for this?) to the Empire. Plus Anakin did not have the Political mind to run the entire galaxy nor keep the Senate in tack. I think there would have been a bit of shock but then the senate would take over. Anakin would probably have to go on the run for killing the Emperor.
I don't know just my thoughts. Awesome Blog.

date Posted: Apr 13, 2007 9:31 PM If Anakin had indeed killed Obi-Wan on Mustafar, his very soul would be as haughty as before. It would be apparent that Anakin's lust for power and greed would thrust him into deep conflicts with his emperor, which could have resulted in his downfall. But was he strong enough? Could Anakin have defeated Sidious? Some say yes, some say no.

date Posted: Apr 14, 2007 6:08 AM I think Anakin would have tried to kill Palpatine once he realized Padme was dead. But he would have failed. Palpatine still had the advantage over him, I believe.

Palpatine had forseen this. He planned for Anakin to lose. Well he did not plan for Anakin to lose so badly. But he did plan for Anakin to be weakened.

If he would have kept his head and defeated him, there would have been nothing to stand in his way. He would have had Padme and their children in his hands, and he would have wiped the floor with Palpatine. If he would have kept his wits about him and not let his pride control his decisions.

date Posted: Apr 14, 2007 9:49 AM if anakin killed obi-wan he probaly couldve killed palpatine because somewere i read that vader in the suit was roughly 80 percent power of the emporer, if he had never had the suit he would be twice as powerful as palpatine probaly he wouldve killed him.

If Vader had killed Obiwan he would have done what all Sith do, learn everything they can from their master then dispose of them and become the master. Vader would have had unlimited power if he'd studied at the feet of Sidious without that suit, no one was more powerful, when he's focused no one can beat him, the only reason Obi wins in ROTS is that Vader's mind is not on the fight, he's thinking about being betrayed and at the same time thinks he has unlimited power before he actually had it.

The truth is Anakin Skywalker is already dead at this point. If the roles were reversed, Darth Vader would leave Kenobi for dead and would discover Padme's broken body. She would still die from heartbreak. So the real consequence of your reversal is what happens to the twins? Does Vader bring Padme to the Imperial Surgical center? So if Luke and Leia survive they would be in the hazardous care of the Emperor and an unhandicapped version of Vader. Therefore, Luke is not in position to be trained by Kenobi and Yoda and he too would be twisted by the dark side of the force. Unless the twins are saved from this situation, the Sith really would rule the galaxy forever.
