Since the release of
Revenge Of The Sith into theatres last May, I've finally found reading Sci-Fi novels interesting again.
I was never really much for science fiction or fantasy type books before (or movies for that matter) I watched the original
"Planet Of The Apes films in the summer of 2001 (no, not that Tim Burton monstrosity). From then on I discovered the genre of storytelling to be quite exciting... well at least in some areas.
Anyway, I hadn't really been into Star Wars since I was 12 and once I watched the great Star Wars movie EVER on the big screen (that would be, ahem:
Revenge Of The Sith), I've ventured into the EU.
Now I've read many of the trade paperback, my favorites being
Jedi vs. Sith, Empire:Betrayal, and the stories found in the Star Wars Tales series
But as for novels, I've only finished two so far, one of which I finished just last night, and I ready for the continuing story.
I've much enjoyed James Luceno's "Labryinth Of Evil" and now Mark Stover's "Revenge Of The Sith". So as you may have guess, Luceno's "Dark Lord: The Rise Of Darth Vader" is the next book on my reading horizon. I haven't really explored much of the Original Trilogy except for the films, since my love of Star Wars lies mainly between 19 BBY - 4 BBY.
I can't wait for the book on
Darth Bane which is due in a few months, since I've researching as much of his story that I could found and found the character quite interesting. (See my blog: "Darth Bane: Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Thought Bomb)
I apologize for the lack of excitement in this blog... I haven't had much sleep.
