Being an OT fan for so long, while waiting for the saga to be completed.. if i'm honest i do like the OT more.
I'd like to say that i think GL made the right choice in releasing the Episodes in the order that he did.
But I was wondering 'What if GL released them in order?', (I - VI)
I've compiled a list of a few pros and cons

Pros

In ROTS, Anakins turn to the Darkside would have been massive and his Duel with Obi Wan would be so unexpected.

Seeing all of those Jedi die would have been Huge if we didn't know it was gonna happen.

Watching Palpatines plan in action, from the near beginning, not knowing when or if it was going to be foiled. Would be great.

But most importantly (in my opinion) after having Anakins slide to the Sith Order in ROTS. Seeing Luke dressed in black right from the start of ROTJ, it would make Luke joining Vader and overthrowing Palpatine seem a more likely outcome!

Cons

We lose the mystery of Darth Vader if we see the 'monster' behind the mask as a helpful child and frustrated teenager.

We'd have lost the power of the 'I am your Father' line.

The scale perspective of the Star Destroyer chasing the Tantive IV would be less impressive.

If TPM was the first SW movie released, i don't think it would have pulled in as many people as it did and maybe the OT as we know it wouldn't have been made at all!

these are just a few points, there are of course plenty more.

Now I know these opinions are mine and mine only
but i'd like to know what other peple think!
