Slowly Turning To The Dark Side!

Added time Multi-Blog

Okay, just a few things!

Everybody who loves, likes, tolerates or hates Star Wars is in for a treat because on the 23rd of June, BBC America is showing the first two episodes of Spaced back to back at 11pm EST or 8pm PST.
It is quite Star Wars orientated and stars Simon Pegg of Shaun of the Dead / MI:3 fame and is (in my opinion) the best comedy programme to come out of England since Monty Python.

And on Friday 30th of June at 11:30 EST or 8:30 PST BBC America are showing the first in a series of six episodes of another comedy show called Peep Show, which is well worth watching.

Also on a different note, The Preliminary open draft of the Ice-planet.tv website is up and running but as we have limited information at the moment it's looking.. well, it is relatively bare. And I'm not even sure about the home page but it is still a work in progress!

Finally, some of you may remember that, a while ago, I wrote a Blog stating that I was going to do the 'Official' Saga timeline book marathon HERE Where my plan was to read the books of and directly between the movies. Starting from Cloak of Deception through to Truce at Bakura. I thought I'd update you on my progress.. As it stands, I've got up to Chapter 2 of Cloak of Deception.
Pathetic I know! It's not because I've been too busy or up to anything else.. It's because I'm lazy! I keep meaning to start but I just can't be bothered.

Well there you go, take from this what you will.

And if you want to comment feel free!

Take it Easy and Keep Smiling! :D

Sweet - At this rate you could be done by sometime in late 2009.

The IP site looks great. I think I asked this before but forgot... are you doing the design or contributing?

I so wish Spaced was available in the USA. Maybe we'll get it on DVD, like a lot of other British programmes ;)

It would be my honour to manoeuvre through this humour programme. I'd be a klaxon to let-out something this pukka.

Uh... I think those are all correct uses. Just getting in the British mood :p

BBC America IS broadcast here (that's why it's cleverly named BBC AMERICA) ;)

The SW refs were great and the Raiders ref too. I hope they plan to play more of the eps. That would be great.

Interesting. Now if we could only find some SW related Benny Hill shows, I would be all set. ;)

You're more optimistic than I!

It is being co-created by two members of the Sci Fi Uk Website and myself!

It is available on Ebay.com but funnily enough, not Amazon! you could try an import.

close enough! :D I'm surprised you know 'Pukka'.

There are loads of tv and film references, The A Team, The Matrix, Close Encounters, Star Wars (of course!) even Resident Evil and the Magic Roundabout.. Classic Stuff.

Interesting. Now if we could only find some SW related Benny Hill shows, I would be all set.

The closest I can find is the Force Dashing at the end of each episode :^O
