Slowly Turning To The Dark Side!

Ice Planet
Before we start, I feel that I must let you know that this is nothing more than a big fat shameless Plug!

So if you're not interested in, possibly, the best new, and fastest growing Sci Fi experience around, look away.... Now!

Still here? Good! Let's crack on!

As some of you are aware, I, along with a few friends, have set up the worlds first Ice Planet Fan Site at www.ice-planet.tv. It is far from finished but so is the programme! (which hasn't actually started yet.)so keep checking back for updates, if you so wish.

At the moment we do know that the 'aim' is for it to run for 5 Seasons of 22 Episodes and that the brilliant Michael Ironside is definitely Confirmed to resume his role as Jonas Trager. The filming is due to start in Britain in July . All other Info is either on the site or will be as soon as we know about it.

Our friends at CHUM Limited (The Producton company) and Sci Fi UK (The Trans-Atlantic cousin of Sci Fi.com) are keeping us abreast of all the goings on. So as soon as we know, you'll know.

On top of that our Forums are now open as of about 1'o'clock this morning (GMT) so theres not too much going on at the moment, but it is there.

We also use the Sci Fi UK forums aswell, So..

If you want to join in the serious, and sometimes heated, debates about the Pros and Cons of Emmanuelle.

If you want to know why one member said this:

"If I was caught in a tight spot under sustained threat of an iminant alien assault, I would rather have John Rambo by my side than Dr Dweeb Geekness of the local trainspotting club."

Or join in with more Star Warsy topics:

"I also hope GL doesn't try to link it more to Earth,
Pod Racing is Just Motor Racing
Death Sticks are Cigarettes
And I don't want robots playing American Football
DON'T LINK IT TO MY WORLD!
It's supposed to be 'A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far Far Away' Not 'Earth - 2076"

If all of this sound's like fun.. Pop over and say, Hey!

Oh, and I've just noticed that the Series Finale of Doctor Who is on in the States tonight! You Lucky People!

Once again, great job on the site... but will we ever get to see this in the USA? Maybe we'll have to wait for the 1st season on DVD.

Ah, I see - "Due Worldwide Autumn 2006" but I also see its awaiting the announcement for what channel will air it in the US. I wonder why the Sci Fi channel hasn't picked it up already.

The trailer is on the site if you want to check it out.

That's what I wondered, but apparently, although Sci Fi and Sci Fi UK are linked, they operate seperately (which is understandable) but I thought Sci Fi would go for it. but it's all politics!
