Before I let this blog turn into a big Star Wars en Direct blatant promotional blog, I'll make good use of it and prove, once and for all, that this is not a attempt to just get free advertisement for our show.

Let me begin by presenting myself,
My name is Sebastien Mineau, and I'm the host of the show.
I'm a French Canadian who lives in Montreal, Quebec.
I turned to Star Wars in the early 90's when I actually started to understand it more.

Back in 1999there was a show called JediTalk.
You could go in a chatroom during these shows and just enjoy talking about Star Wars with really friendly people.
JediTalk however was only an english speaking show, a little hard on the Francophone (people who speak french in general).
So the adminstrator of a francophone website (www.sithclan.net) decided to take on the odyssey to make a french talkshow.
The show was created back in early 2001 under the name Radio SithClan, after a few months of practicing, I got the immense honor to meet the Original crew of Jeditalk, and even more so, the basic crew of Radio Evolution (for those who remember).

A few months after Celebration II, JediTalk ended it's glory years as the best star wars Talkshow on the internet, leaving the way open for multiple other shows.
However, none where LIVE show interacting with the fans as they happened.

So in September 2003, after practising really hard with the French community of the Star Wars Fandom, Star Wars En Direct (renamed shortly after beginning Radio Sithclan, and separating from "sithclan" and getting it's own website) began to air in English..!!

The success was immediate and heightened by many incredible interviews with great people of the LucasFilm world.

Ever since we began to do the show in english, it's been a real roller coaster ride and I for one wouldn't have it any other way.
