Every time I hear that a fan of the Star Wars community is ill or that something bad happened, I find myself touched in a way I still have difficulty understanding.

I remember the passing of many fans over the last few years as I've gotten more in touch with the entire Star Wars Community.
I may not nescesarily know these fans personally, but they are Star Wars fans in a way, and that already is a lot to me.

However recently I have been faced with a new kind of problem facing situation, the one of Katie Johnson.

Katie Johnson is a little girl who has been affliged with a tumor in an unoperable part of her body (right between her brain and spine)

But unlike other little girl, Katie is the daughter of Albin Johnson founder of the 501st.

Katie's condition seemed to have improved while a large number of us were celebrating our passion for Star Wars back in April. However in the past few weeks, her condition has turned to the worst.

Her family has been informed to prepare for the worse, and I for one am shocked to hear such sad news.

So I ask of you all who will read this that you do drop by the www.forkatie.org website and donate as much as you can to the cause. Help her pass away as painlessly as possible.
