What Do These Movies Have In Common?
In the home theater that my wife and I put together, we have vintage movie posters on the walls. We were looking at them last night, and found that 6 of the 7 had something in common. Can you guess what it is? Also, can you guess which movie doesn't fit the bill?

- Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
- Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
- Raiders of the Lost Ark
- E.T., The Extraterrestrial in his Adventures on Earth
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
- Jaws
- Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron

Figured it out yet?

Got it now?

Check out the picture above for a clue, if you still don't know...

It's the music. Or, at least, the composer. All but Spirit have soundtracks that were composed by John Williams. It was an amazing revelation... that all these movies that my wife and I really love (Spirit was chosen by my 10-year-old, who simply loves horses) are connected by the composer of their soundtracks. Just goes to show you that great music makes great movies.

Visuals and story are merely half the battle, what truly makes a movie is what is heard. Look at all the classic and immortal movies and you will find epic music within them (Casablanca comes to mind). Interesting topic, Bubba
