Constructive Criticism
A loyal reader sent me a list of fixes for the next edition of the encyclopedia. In his note, Nathan provided four lists, for which I am eternally grateful: a list of redundant or duplicated entries, a list of cities that were not in the Category for cities, a list of entries with incorrect Type fields, and a list of entries with incorrect Category fields.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I'm not perfect. Given the rate at which new Star Wars material comes out, I rarely have time to re-read stuff that I wrote before. That's why I'm thankful that readers like Nathan point out problems. It helps when readers start their e-mails with "Thanks for putting this encyclopedia together" or some such, rather than "You buffoon! Don't you know anything?"

I will continue to diligently document what I can. In the meantime, feel free to let me know what I've missed or messed up.

In the beginning, the Internet was heralded as the greatest meeting place of minds the world had ever known. Unfortunately, someone forgot to bring the beer and pizza and the place has been steeped in unprovoked hostility ever since.

It's impossible that some people dare to send you such e-mails. People like you deserve a statue in the SW community. Your website is incredible. I use it so many times for a quick check to make certain something is correct.

Please feel free to use anything for your encyclopaedia from my blog rosters. Your site has always been a great help to me.

Oh ... the entry of Dressing the Galaxy contains several new characters from that book. Maybe that'll be interesting to you as well? Of course feel free to contact me if you need more information about anything.

Yeah, almost any fan project I undertake in the star wars universe starts with Bob's Encyclopedia, going back 10 years now easily to version 4.0. or maybe it was 4.2. It is the single greatest source for anyone's first pass research. It blows away the inaccurate wookieepedia and wikipedia set up. I know Bob researched everything himself and sourced it all. If not for Vitas' site, NSU, my Star Wars online RP (1000 players at its peak) never would have gotten off the ground, and my star wars fan comic never would have been started either ( http://www.fandom.swnsu.com ).

I am a frequent emailer whenever I find something that seems incorrect. Bob has always seemed to take the information as something helpful. Basically, he is one of the nicest and hardest working Star Wars fans out there, and his encyclopedia resource is the best thing since sliced bread!
