Long Time, No... Whatever
Well, it's been a while since I last blogged here, and for that I apologize. Since my last entry, my "real job" has gotten pretty busy, as we've been strategizing on our 2008 activities. Long days of conference calls and meetings have been quite draining on me, mentally and physically. Thus, my other projects have been lagging in progress.

That's not to say that there hasn't been any progress. I released Version 10.0 of the CUSWE a couple of weeks ago. Not a huge update, by any means, and it's kind of far behind. Heck, it doesn't even include the content from Death Star, which I got before Christmas!

RD-22 has also been coming along, although I haven't done much reporting here. Several friends and family members claimed that they couldn't see the pictures from here, and commented that reporting on my build through a blog was "boring." So, for their sake, I build Ardee his own website. You can see what I've been up to by clicking here. As you can see from this picture, I've had more success with Ardee than with the CUSWE.

He's really coming along, and I'm getting down to the nitty-gritty as far as the artistic part of the project. I still have a handful of parts to acquire, most notably the under-shoulder details and the ankles, and I need to complete the work on the dome. Then comes the interesting part... adding in all the electronics and the RC components. It's an adventure I'm looking forward to, since I've only played with RC toys about three times in my life. If I wasn't relying on the experts at the R2Builders club before, I will definitely be making friends there in the coming months. Wish me luck!

Your mother's grandchild is coming along most beautifully. You've made a lot of progress in the months since you started. :)
