new SW on TV
Starting to get really excited about the upcoming star wars live action TV series lately.

Word from Lucas' circle says it will be out in 2009 (id guess in the fall).

So, thats just a little over 2 years from now. Promising developments include...

1. GL has put the stop-order on a book someone wanted to make about Darth Plaeguis background.

2. GL ordered book/comic/game writers (of the era) to not kill off Quinlan Vos ----------->

3. Almost all of the major characters actors from Ep:3 have said they would be interested in appearing in the show (at least as guest (or periodic) appearances).
That includes Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Ewan McGregor, Ian McDirmid, Jimmy Smits, Frank Oz, and Hayden Christianson (though to be honest they dont need Hayden... anyone the right hieght and build can play Vader... the real requirment for Vader, in the show, would be James Earl Jones voice talents).

p.s. Just my personal guess... Im guessing Daniels, Baker, and Smits will be regular characters in the show.

4. The actor who played Boba in Ep:2 has been approached to reprise his role in the upcoming show.... sweet :)

p.s. That kid will have aged 7 years since he played the 10yr old Boba in Ep:2 at that point... just old enough to start wearing his fathers armor and start establishing himself as Boba Fett - Bounty Hunter :)

5. McCallum has hinted the series would be darker (more gritty) then the movies with deeper character issues... ala the new Battlestar Galactica.

These are just the big points i can think of, but it suggests good things.

Things I dont know that youve heard?
